Rays Warranty Policy

Material and Workmanship

Rays Batteries warrants only to the original user that it will be free of defects in material and workmanship within warranty period. We will at our option make any necessary repairs and/or exchange the defective battery without charge during the warranty period.

 

All Rays Batteries are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, and are manufactured in accordance with Rays Industrial Batteries specification.

 

Should a claim arise the following is our limited warranty policy/conditions:

1. A battery will not be considered defective unless it fails to deliver 60% of its original rated capacity during the warranty period.
2. Each battery must be of the proper size, design, and capacity for the application it is being used in at 25.Centigrade or 77.Fahrenheit (float services only).
3. The warranty period shall be adjusted based on actual operating conditions such as temperature and frequency of charge / discharge cycles as published by Rays Batteries. The warranty period will be reduced by 50% for every 15.-Fahrenheit (8.Centigrade) increase in operating temperature above 77.Fahrenheit (base temperature).
4. Each battery must be charged, discharged, stored and serviced in accordance
with the manufacturers ’written instructions.
5. Rays is not responsible for batteries that fail due to improper charging or
installation; broken container, or cover; damage caused by fire, excessive heat, wreckage, explosion or freezing; or damage caused by abuse or neglect; or any act of God.
6. Claims Upon satisfactory proof of claim as determined solely by Rays Service
team, we will at our option either repair or replace the defective battery during warranty period.

 

LIMITATIONS:

 

The warranties set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied or statutory, including the warranties of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The warranties provided herein may not be assigned or transferred by the original user, and are the exclusive remedy for all claims, damages, or loss arising out of defect or failure of a Rays Batteries, and is not liable for consequential, incidental, commercial, or property loss or damage, whether based upon tort or contact obligation.
